Ángeles Caso was born in Gijón in 1959. She has a degree in history of art and is a writer. Author of novels, essays, biographies, children’s literature, film scripts and translations, her most important works include Contra el viento (Premio Planeta 2009) and Un largo silencio (Fernando Lara Award 2000) and the essay “Las olvidadas”, a story of creative women.
