Las Moradas<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

“Las Moradas” is the title of the last book by Saint Teresa of Jesus, a treatise on prayer written in the area of San Mart\u00edn de Valdeiglesias. Choosing this name for our winery is a nod to literature. The wines produced in this area were often mentioned in the works of the most important writers of the Spanish Golden Age: Tirso de Molina, Jorge Manrique, Cervantes…<\/p>

So, literature and wine go hand in hand to express the essence of our wines with the help of authors such as Lorenzo Silva, Marta Rivera, Ram\u00f3n Ac\u00edn, \u00d3scar Sip\u00e1n, \u00c1ngeles Caso, Luis Zueco, Luz Gab\u00e1s, Andr\u00e9s Trapiello and Espido Freire<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Marta Rivera de la Cruz (Lugo, 1970) has a degree in Information Sciences and is a specialist in Political Communication from the Complutense University. She is currently Regional Minister for Culture, Tourism and Sports in the Community of Madrid. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tLorenzo Silva Amador was born on June 7th, 1966 in Madrid. He studied Law at the Complutense University and worked as a lawyer for a large company in the energy sector. However, his path has always been different. Known for his detective novels, some of his most outstanding novels are \u201cEl alquimista impaciente\u201d<\/em> (Nadal Prize 2000) and \u201cLa marca del meridiano\u201d<\/em> (Planeta Prize 2012).\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

In November of 2014 he was chosen as finalist for the first Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez Ibero-American Short Story Prize, organised by the Colombian government, for his book of short stories \u201cQuisiera tener la voz de Leonard Cohen para pedirte que te marcharas\u201d<\/em> (2013, Editorial Base). She has combined teaching with other related activities including translation, publishing articles, literary and linguistic research, as well as participating in cultural, theatre and film projects. In 2012 he published her first novel \u201cPalmeras en la nieve\u201d<\/em>. He is also the director of Grisel Castle and a member of the Spanish Association of Friends of Castles, as well as an expert contributor on heritage and culture in various mmagazines and blogs. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tBorn in Manzaneda de Tor\u00edo (Le\u00f3n) in 1953, he has lived in Madrid since 1975. Poet, essayist and writer of novels and short stories, including \u201cEl buque fantasma\u201d<\/em> (The Ghost Ship). In 2015 he published an complete and accurate rendering of Don Quixote into modern-day Spanish. He has directed the publishing houses La Ventura and Trieste and currently directs the publishing house La Veleta. His work received the Premio de las Letras de la Comunidad de Madrid in 2002 and the Premio de las Letras de Castilla y Le\u00f3n in 2010.
